Authors who publish with Tafakkur: Journal of Islamic Thought and Civilization agree to the following terms:

1. Copyright Retention and First Publication Rights
   Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The published work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which permits others to share, distribute, and adapt the work, provided that proper acknowledgment is given to the original author(s) and to its initial publication in this journal.
2. Additional Distribution Rights
   Authors are permitted to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work (e.g., depositing the article in an institutional repository or including it in a book), provided that clear acknowledgment is given to its initial publication in Tafakkur: Journal of Islamic Thought and Civilization.
3. Self-Archiving and Open Access Dissemination
   Authors are permitted and encouraged to make their work publicly available online (e.g., through institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic platforms) both prior to submission and during the review process. This practice supports wider dissemination, facilitates scholarly exchange, and may enhance the visibility and citation impact of the published work.
