We are firmly committed to preserving editorial independence by ensuring that any commercial considerations—including advertising, reprints, or other sources of revenue—do not, under any circumstances, influence or compromise editorial judgments or decisions.
The Editor-in-Chief of JERSS Multidisciplinary: Journal of Education, Religion, Social, and Science retains full authority and responsibility for determining the acceptance or rejection of submitted manuscripts. Editorial decisions are grounded exclusively in the manuscript’s academic merit, methodological rigor, originality, and its contribution to the advancement of multidisciplinary scholarship.
Editors operate in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies and are bound by prevailing legal frameworks, particularly those governing defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. Where necessary, editors may consult with members of the editorial board or external peer reviewers to ensure balanced, objective, and well-informed decisions.
Manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their intellectual content and scholarly quality, without discrimination of any kind, including but not limited to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic background, citizenship, or political affiliation of the authors.
Editors and all editorial personnel are obligated to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all submitted manuscripts. Information pertaining to a manuscript may only be disclosed to individuals directly involved in the editorial process, including corresponding authors, reviewers, prospective reviewers, editorial advisors, and the publisher, as appropriate.
Unpublished materials disclosed in submitted manuscripts must not be used by editors for personal research or advantage without the explicit written consent of the authors. Editors must avoid any situation that may give rise to a conflict of interest and are required to recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where such conflicts exist.
Peer reviewers provide essential support to the editorial process by delivering rigorous, objective, and constructive evaluations that assist editors in making informed decisions and contribute to improving the quality of manuscripts.
Reviewers who consider themselves unqualified to assess a manuscript or unable to complete the review within the stipulated timeframe must promptly notify the editor and withdraw from the review process.
Manuscripts received for review must be treated as strictly confidential documents and must not be disclosed, shared, or discussed with others without prior authorization from the editor.
Reviews must be conducted with the highest level of academic integrity, objectivity, and professionalism. Personal criticism of authors is inappropriate; all comments should be clearly articulated and supported by scholarly arguments.
Reviewers are responsible for identifying relevant scholarly work that has not been cited by the authors and for reporting any substantial similarity, duplication, or overlap with other known publications.
Any privileged information obtained through the peer-review process must remain confidential and must not be used for personal gain. Reviewers must decline to review manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest arising from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships.
Authors are required to present an accurate, transparent, and objective account of their research. The manuscript must include sufficient detail and appropriate references to enable replication. Fabrication, falsification, or misrepresentation of data constitutes unethical conduct and is strictly prohibited.
Authors must ensure that their submissions are entirely original. Any use of the work, ideas, or words of others must be appropriately cited or quoted in accordance with academic standards.
Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously, or publishing redundant work, constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is strictly unacceptable.
Proper acknowledgment must be given to all sources that have influenced the research. Authors are expected to cite all relevant publications.
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. All co-authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission. The corresponding author bears responsibility for ensuring the integrity of authorship.
Authors must disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their work. All sources of funding must be clearly acknowledged.
If authors identify significant errors or inaccuracies in their published work, they are obligated to promptly notify the editor and cooperate fully in correcting or retracting the article to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
