JERSS Multidisciplinary: Journal of Education, Religion, Social, and Science (ISSN XXXX-XXXX) is a biannual academic journal published by Andalas Mandiri Berkarya & Kayo Aksara Scholar. Issued in June and December, this journal serves as a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate high-quality research findings, conceptual studies, and critical reflections across the fields of education, religion, social sciences, and scientific studies. Emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach, JERSS aims to foster intellectual dialogue and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and contemporary academic discourse. The journal covers four main areas of scientific scope:
Education – encompassing studies on learning innovations and media development, science education (Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology), religious education, environmental education, learning strategies and methodologies, as well as cultural and local-based education, with an emphasis on advancing effective, contextual, and transformative learning practices.
Religion – focusing on interfaith and intercultural studies, sociology of religion, textual and theological studies, scriptural studies, as well as the relationship between religion and media, environment, and contemporary issues, highlighting the dynamic role of religion in shaping ethical, social, and global discourses.
Social – including sociology (society and social relations), political science, religious practices and local culture, and communication studies, emphasizing the analysis of social dynamics, cultural interactions, and the role of communication in societal development.
Science – covering natural sciences (Chemistry, Physics, and Biology), mathematics and statistics, as well as data analysis such as Big Data, deep learning, machine learning, and review studies, with a focus on scientific advancement and interdisciplinary integration.
This journal aims to serve as an academic platform for researchers, scholars, and practitioners to develop integrative and interdisciplinary discourse connecting education, religion, social, and science. It also seeks to contribute to the advancement of knowledge that supports innovation, sustainability, and the development of a globally responsive society.
Volume 1, Number 1 (2026) marks the inaugural issue of the journal and has been published online. This issue comprises five scholarly articles contributed by 11 authors affiliated with eight institutions across three countries: Indonesia, Nigeria, and Egypt. The published articles present relevant and innovative multidisciplinary studies that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of education, religion, social sciences, and science.
